From Scratch Making Your Own Ornament
 
  1. Open a New Transparent Canvas
  2. Click Selection Tool
  3. In Tool Options set this tool to Circle
  4. Left Click hold and drag a circle
  5. Click the Fill Bucket tool
  6. Click the top styles and choose Paint and Color White
  7. Click the Canvas in the circle to fill it white
  8. Click the Magic Wand tool and click the Canvas outside of the Circle
  9. Click Selections/Choose Invert
  10. Click Layers/Choose New Raster Layer
  11. Fill this with your image (I used a tube image)
  12. Click Layers/Choose New Raster Layer
  13. Fill this with a colorful background or image
  14. Click Effects/Gaussian Blur/and blur to your liking
  15. Click Eraser/Set to 0=Hardness 13=Opacity 35 approx.=Step Shape=Round and Size just a little smaller than your circle.
  16. Slowly drag small circles inside the center of your circle, or where the area where you want your image to show.  You might have to let go and start again to get the effect you want.
  17. Click Layers/New Raster Layer
  18. Click Line Tool and set to Bezier Curve (this is the reason I continue to use V.7.04) Size 2
  19. Click the top Styles and set it to what you want your hook filler to be
  20. From top right, left click hold and drag a line down to center top of ornament
  21. Left Click Hold and drag the curve upwards and outwards to create the top of the hook
  22. Left Click Hold and drag the bottom section of the hook.
  23. Click Layers/New Raster Layer
  24. Drag a line from one side to the other
  25. Left Click hold and drag a slight curve on one side then equal it on the other side when clicking the second time.
  26. Click Layers/Convert to Raster Layer
  27. Click Edit/Copy
  28. Click Edit/Paste as a New Selection
  29. Click Image/Mirror
  30. Click Mover Tool and move it into place, making sure the ends are touching. (this should create the top and bottom part of the bell)
  31. Click Magic Wand and click in the center of your hallow bell
  32. Click Selections/Modify/Expand by 1
  33. Click Layers/New Raster Layer
  34. Click Layers/Arrange/Move Down
  35. Now Fill the inside of your Bell
